Cheri Cowell writes and speaks from a well of knowledge and a willingness to become vulnerable about her own struggles with the deep questions of faith. From over 200 articles in such magazines as Marriage Partnership, the Lookout, and Light & Life, to the stories she has in over ten anthologies including Chicken Soup for the Grandma’s Soul, you will find a fellow sojourner in the faith-walk of life. Cheri draws upon her nearly 20 years in both professional and lay Christian ministry and her current studies at Asbury Theological Seminary to address the unspoken questions of faith. Her book, Direction: Discernment for the Decisions of Your Life (Beacon Hill, Nov. 2007), is hailed as “a biblically sound, no-nonsense approach to making God-centered life choices.” Her second book, Ponderables: Reaching the Next Generation Through the Language of Story, is to be released in the spring of 2010.
