“Eminently quotable, PeggySue Wells is a tonic — warm like your favorite blanket, bracing like a stiff drink.”
Writer, producer, radio co-host, board member, workshop presenter, homeschooler, and mom, PeggySue blew out her knees as a modern dancer and became a news reporter (most misleading headline) before coming home to freelance while raising and schooling her seven favorite children. Producer and co-host of award-winning WBCL Mid-Morning, she is the author of a couple dozen books including a couple bestsellers, an audio finalist and several co-authored projects including a parenting book with June Hunt because she writes well with others. Her motto is, “How can we make this happen?” Her work has been described as giving voice to women, empowering others to pursue their full potential in Christ, and showing students the essentials that make writing do-able. PeggySue specializes in equipping parents to provide a nurturing environment for children. Home is Narnia in the winter and the Hundred-Acre Wood in summer, and Savannah Grey tea with dark chocolate all year long. Family, friends, floor to ceiling bookshelves, bonfires, wonder, and adventure. Poignant and winsome, the stuff of life is the stuff of story, and will make its way into PeggySue’s next novel, composed on her portable Mac(Beth).
