"Dr.

Dr. Richard Mabry retired from medicine after a distinguished career as a respected clinician, teacher, writer, and researcher. He entered the field of non-medical writing with the publication of his book, The Tender Scar: Life After The Death Of A Spouse, written after the death of his first wife.

Richard has served as Vice-President of the American Christian Fiction Writers, and is also an active member of the International Thriller Writers and Romance Writers of America. He has taught writing-related courses at both local and national events, including the Mount Hermon Christian Writers Conference, Blue Ridge Mountain Christian Writers Conference, and the ACFW Annual Conference.

He is the author of eight (soon to be nine) published novels of medical suspense, and a novella. His books have been finalists in competitions including ACFW’s Carol Award, the Romantic Times’ Inspirational Book of the Year and the Inspirational Readers Choice.
