Three retailers won a total of $2400 in CAN (Christian Author’s Network) authored books at the Munce Christian Product Expo (CPE) in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Aloha from Karen I love having bookmarks for my books. They make great little gifts and also promote books. It’s great to add more than a book title and even better to team up with others for some bookmarks.Bookmarks can hold an amazing amount of information. CAN creates bookmarks of the next year’s book releases from members. We recently created three to showcase 70 releases coming in 2014.
Logos retailer Wins CAN-authored Books
CAN (Christian Authors Network) president Bonnie Calhoun and treasurer Karen Whiting spoke at the Association of Logos Bookstores conference and held a drawing for a bundle of CAN-authored books. The Logos managers hold their conference in tandem with the International Christian Retail Show. With Fear and Trembling
Hello from Jeanette. Today I spent 20 minutes in the backseat of our car with a trembling 50-lb dog. Car rides turn our pit mix, Belle, into a spineless mutt. They trigger memories of shots and other unpleasant vet visits. I assured Belle that we were only going to PetSmart to get her nails trimmed but she continued to squeal and pace, starring helplessly out the window, silently pleading to passersby, “Help me! I’m on my way to the manicurist. It’s so scary there.” I teased Belle about being a big baby, reminded her of her bread, but nothing worked….
