C. Kevin Thompson
Greetings from Kevin Thompson! School is back in session here in Florida. That means there are thousands of mothers out there either breathing into paper bags (because they are first time school parents) or breathing a sigh of relief, looking forward to hours of quiet time with a book, a cup of coffee, and a house filled with silence (because they’ve been there, done that with the whole school thing). So, for those ready to read, I introduce to you novelist MaryAnn Diorio! Welcome, MaryAnn.
Let’s get this interview jumpstarted by having you tell us about your latest book, Return to Bella Terra.
Maria Tonetta returns to Sicily to face not only her mother’s death but also the bankruptcy of the family farm. Caught between two worlds, Maria must choose one. But when her son’s biological father appears at Mama’s funeral, Maria must face an even greater enemy within her own soul. Read More →
Your Words Matter

“I believed, and therefore I have spoken . . . .”
(2 Corinthians 4: 13)
If you want to know what you believe, listen to what you say. Your words reveal what is in your heart, for the Word of God says that “out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks” (Matthew 12: 34).
God created the entire universe with words. Made in His image, we create our personal universe with our words.
So, what words are you speaking?
For the next 24 hours, listen closely to what you are saying. Are you speaking words of life or words of death? Are you speaking words that build or words that destroy? Are you speaking words that heal or words that wound?
Your words control your destiny. The Bible tells us that “death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18: 21). The words you choose to speak will create your future. Just as God created the universe with words, so do we create our future with words.
Choose now to speak only words of life. In so doing, you will be imitating your Father in Heaven.
