Ann Marie said, “What a complete blessing and confirmation that God will provide.” Opening a store in a difficult economy was a step of faith and this reminds her that God is with her as she answers his call to bring his presence to the community. Her store partners with churches to bring in artists and authors for events. She will use some books from CPE as door prizes and others to fill out shelves where customers can find new authors. She also has a café in the store and keeps books on the tables to let customers browse various titles.

Ann Marie also mentioned her delight at receiving the gift bag of bookmarks from CAN authors distributed to retailers at the personality party. She will use the bookmarks as bag stuffers and thank-you gifts for shoppers and considers them a great resource to bring new titles and authors to the attention of shoppers.

Marilyn and Frank Hood have been attending events for years and say this is the first time they won books from CAN. They won $750 in books for their shop, Sweet Spirit Christian Bookstore, in Marietta, Georgia. They are wowed to receive the books.

Mary Rajasekhar, owner of Olivet Book and Gift in Alpena, Michigan, won the $1000 bundle of books. This blessing came after she paid a large repair bill when her car broke down after she arrived at the conference. Mary will use the books to bless her customers with a month long Share the Blessings store event.

CAN continues to reach out to retailers to provide tools and help them reach customers. CAN is blessed to partner with Munce at these and other events throughout the year that Munce offers retailers.
