Marlene Banks considers herself a Kingdom writer/novelist, hardwired to tell stories. Passion for good stories directs her reading choices and fuels her writing goals. She believes a good story has the power to show God’s glory, spread the Gospel, and inspire change. She emphatically declares Christ Jesus as the Author and Finisher of her faith and her fiction.

Marlene’s out of the box style of storytelling comes from a penchant for misrepresented or ignored history, her love of God’s word, fascination for the human psyche, and a soft spot for romance. All that blends together creating the multilayered plots for her novels. Currently published novels are historical romances and contemporary fiction with her murder mystery romances forthcoming.
