Speaking:

As an author, speaker, and sidewalk theologian, Cheri Cowell brings wit, wisdom, and sound biblical teaching to the sidewalk issues of life. From a refreshing vulnerability about her own struggles with the deep questions of faith, and based solidly in her degree from Asbury Theological Seminary, Cheri brings light and understanding to those issues often avoided as “too difficult.” Questions such as:

Why does a loving God allow bad things?
Is there a way to share the Gospel without sounding preachy?
How can I know it is God’s voice and not another voice leading me astray?
Can the Bible really be trusted since it was written so long ago? Aren’t there too many contradictions?
If you are looking for a speaker for your next event that will inspire and offer sound biblical teaching, Cheri is your choice.

Living Parables

The Parables come to life through this multi-media drama presentation inspiring audiences to live parable-shaped lives as did Jesus, the Ultimate Living Parable. This is Cheri’s keynote presentation created from the research she did for her new Bible study, Parables and Word Pictures from the New Testament.

Ponderables and Parables

This application-oriented workshop gives you the tools for adopting parable-shaped lives that can transform a church, a community, and a nation. Added to the above presentation, this workshop adds the how-to to the inspiration.

StoryCraft: Reaching Outside the Church Walls

The new art of evangelism is story-sharing. In this workshop, learn to share your story as part of God’s story and become a living parable in your community and to your family. Again, this workshop can be added to the Keynote presentation for a “here’s how” to the inspiration.

Hello God, Is This Really You?

Hearing from God in a noisy world. This is based upon Cheri’s book, Direction: Discernment for the Decisions of Your Life, and includes her powerful testimony.

Diamonds in the Dust

Healing our brokenness and learning to SHINE again. This presentation is perfect for senior’s groups with its positive message and uplifting stories.

CHRIST is the Heart of Christmas

Filled with one touching story after another, this presentation will invite your women to make Christ the heart of Christmas and every day of the year. It ends with the dramatic recitation of the poem Twas the Night Before Jesus Came.
