DoAuthor Photo - Small you need another chance? Another chance at setting a writing goal? Another chance at reaching a writing goal? Another chance at starting over again?

All of us, at one time or another, need a second chance. And a third and a fourth. Life is a cycle of ups and downs, highs and lows, starts and restarts. So the first thing we must do is not despair when we have to start over again.

Starting over, however, can be fraught with challenges of its own, like facing a fear or digging deep for the inner strength to pick up the pieces. But starting over can also be exhilarating.

There is something about a new beginning that infuses us with energy and hope. Even if it’s only a tiny spark of hope. But even that tiny spark can turn into a raging fire if we allow Holy Spirit to fan it with His love.

As Spring approaches, let’s do just that. Let’s allow Holy Spirit to fan our hope. To ignite our fire. To restore our souls.

Spring is a time of second chances. New beginnings. A new lease on life. God has woven into the very fabric of the seasons a reminder that He loves to give us another chance. Another chance at repenting of sin. Another chance at starting over. Another chance at becoming the writers He wants us to be. New beginnings

As spring unfolds, accept God’s offer of another chance. Thank Him for it, then make the most of it, for His glory and for the building of His Kingdom.
